2008 | Dance with Fido WaglerLittle Wenlock Village Hall, ShropshireFido was a student of Bernhard Wosien and danced with him at Marburg University in Germany.
Mandy and I met and danced with Fido at the 30th anniversary of Sacred/Circle Dance at Findhorn in July 2006.
We thoroughly enjoyed the way Fido taught the dances he had learnt directly from Bernhard. Scattered throughout Fido's teaching were anecdotes and stories of Bernhard and explanations of Bernhard's thinking and interpretations of the dances.
Fido will be teaching from Bernhrad's repertoire and reminding us of the dances which first attracted us all to Circle Dance - Kalamatianos, Tsamikos, Hassaposervico, Katya, Pogonisios, Kritikos, Cacak, Ciuleandra, Tino Mori- and MANY MORE!!!
He will also be bringing photos of Bernhard that we haven't seen before!!
Fido speaks perfect English, is a wonderful teacher and a great dancer- it will be a memorable weekend I am sure.

As she always does, she will choose a theme to work with - this brings an added dimension and depth to her beautiful choreographies that she will share with us.
Nanni is hoping to start a three-module course called ‘The Dancer Within’ which will begin in November 2013 where she will be working with Judy King.
To this end, and to see if you would like to work with them both in more depth, Judy will also be doing a small amount of teaching during this weekend – with the majority of the dancing and teaching given by Nanni.
(You need to arrange your own accommodation in local B&Bs.)

The inspirational dances of Nanni Kloke invite us to use our whole body to voice our spiritual and emotional responses in a very physical way. This exciting new course is designed to enable a group of dancers to work with focus and intent on our dancing instrument- our body.
Nanni will work with a theme during the first and third modules. She will introduce us to the theme though her stunning choreographies. She will open every day with her ‘Harmonie-Method ®’. In these sessions, Nanni isolates certain movements from some of her dances and gives us the opportunity to work with our bodies without having to worry about any steps. This is an invaluable tool in focussing on individual aspects of the dance and enables us to fully incorporate movements into our bodies in very manageable stages.
During the second module, Judy will continue the work that Nanni began. Every time we repeat dances, our increased understanding of and subsequent confidence in the way our body moves allows us to further access our ‘Dancer Within’. Through working more with Nanni’s beautiful dances, as our familiarity with them grows, so does the integration between the Dancer and the Dance.
When Nanni returns for the third module, she will bring some new material and continue to develop the theme. We hope that this way of working with depth and intent and focus (as well as having lot of fun and laughing a lot!) will really help enable you to truly dance from within.
